HOURS: Full Time
LOCATION: 4900 Neo Parkway, Garfield Hts., OH 44128
JOB SUMMARY:
The Residential Service Technician will oversee service jobs to ensure quality and efficiency for customer satisfaction with company revenue in mind.
The Residential Service technician, or skilled service worker, is responsible for providing technical repair and service work in a home, facility or in the field. These professionals may install and service a wide range of hardware depending on the technician’s specific job. Service technicians may work in many other areas where complex hardware needs to be maintained or fixed. Their responsibilities include diagnostic review, repair, and replacement of parts as well as the replacement and installation of equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Follow instructions given from your service manager
- Keep all work areas neat and organized
- If applicable, keep van properly stocked
- Complete needed: repair, diagnostic, replacement for service
- Continuing customer & office communication throughout completion of job
- Complete all work order documentation
- Manage time and material requests
- Other tasks and responsibilities as required
ACADEMIC & TRADE QUALIFICATIONS:
Electrical Trade School (Preferred)
Journeyman Electrician license (Plus)
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 1+ years of Residential trade experience
- Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record
- Strong communication & technical mechanical skills
- Dependable, responsive, and self-motivated
- Ability to work after hours, weekends, and holidays
