HOURS: Part-Time (8–12 weeks based on program requirements)

PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The Tri-County Electric Service Summer Internship Program offers college, and trade school students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world environment while working alongside industry professionals in the electrical and digital marketing fields.
Interns will explore a professional setting while building practical knowledge in one of the following key areas: commercial and residential electrical work, social media and content production, or SEO-focused web design and optimization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Commercial & Residential Electrical
- Assist licensed electricians on service calls and installations
- Learn basic troubleshooting, safety practices, and on-site protocols
- Observe electrical system layouts, code compliance, and wiring techniques
Social Media, Photography & Video
- Capture and edit photos/videos for marketing campaigns
- Contribute to our social media calendar and post planning
- Assist in building brand awareness through storytelling and visual content
SEO Web Design & Optimization
- Support website updates, design improvements, and layout enhancements
- Learn keyword integration and basic search engine optimization
- Assist with optimizing content for improved digital visibility
ACADEMIC & TRADES QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a trade school, college, or university program
- Relevant coursework in Electrical Technology, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Web Design, or similar
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a professional environment
- Interest in residential or commercial electrical systems, social media marketing, or web development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
